She is behaving as if nothing is going on. Eating and drinking as usual. Never needed, or wanted, help. She is our matriarch and has been experiencing false pregnancies. Birth is possible due to a buck that was given to us 5 months ago!

There are goat people here, but there are a lot more on BYC sister site, backyard herds. Hopefully you can figure out the problem !!

Do you have pictures of her from the back? How much discharge?
My does usually start having mucous/discharge when they're around 3-4 months bred, so that is not a good indicator of labor. I have a doe due any day (she ran with a buck for many months at her previous owner's place, so no due date actually) and she is driving me crazy! Her udder started filling up about 6 weeks ago.

There is a different sight called backyardherds.com that has better people for this type of stuff. I'm not saying there aren't any goat people on here, I'm just saying that there are more goat people on the other sight. I am on BYH for all goat problems and BYC is for my chicken problems. Good luck!

I actually like TheGoatSpot more than BYH when dealing with goat problems or just want to chat with some goat people. But both sites are great with many knowledgeable people!
