Not sure haven’t gotten my goats bred yet!Don’t know if anyone has goats on here that can give me a little insight… but does she look pregnant..?
There is no way to tell for sure other then a pregnancy test (blood drawn). Goats can get precocious udders and produce milk without being bred (usually in good milking lines). If her udder continues to grow and her vulva gets puffy, she is probably bred. Also they go into heat every 21 days, so if she does not go in heat that is another sign she may be bred. Good luck.Don’t know if anyone has goats on here that can give me a little insight… but does she look pregnant..?
Goats come into heat every 21 days during the breeding season. For dairy goats that is from September through February. They do not cycle the rest of the year. There is no way to tell for sure other then a pregnancy test (blood drawn). True, but I've found that my does (ND) have very mild heats in the summer and it's normally hard to tell when they go into heat from around June to early September. Even the bucks aren't interested during that time.Nigerian dwarf goats and African Pygmy goats are year round breeders
