I have a plot of land which is roughly 30 by 100 ft. I have plans to make this home to two miniature goats. I have a few questions:

1. What breed of small goat should I get? I have been looking at Mini Nubians, African Pygmy goats, and Nigerian dwarf goats. My main reason for goats are pets.

2. Will goats turn my pasture into a mud pit all year around?

3. Is 30 by 100 ft. enough for two small goats?

4. Are goats actually as loud as they are in the videos?

Thank you in advance!!!

1.) It is really up to you! Those are all good breeds, it may depend on what is available in your area though. In the long run, though, it really comes down to personal preference!

2.) It wont really be a mud pit, but rather sparse, patchy grass. It wont be a disgusting mess though, if you feed hay.

3.) Definitely! Obviously not enough to support them forage wise, but yes, they will get enough space to roam around.

4.) It depends on the individual personality. I had to sell my goats due to noise. Now I have new ones and they are super quiet. If you get a loud one, yes, they are as loud as the videos.
