Goats or Cows?

Hi there:
Sorry for the english.(better at spanish)
I will suggest you try the goat milk first(the taste is very strong) goats are cute when they are babies but later on they give you lots of trouble unless you have them in pens.
I am more of a cow person I grew up in a dairy farm with holsteins and brown swiss.Obviously those cows will give you lots more milk that you can consume even making cheese and butter , you will still have plenty.
The other idea is a small cow like a mini Jersey, the produce less milk but still is only a dairy cow, my favourite cow now is a Dexter, is a small cow and is dual purpose will give you enough milk for drinking cooking and some cheese and butter. And their calf will be good option for the meat supply.
I don't know much about goats I don't know if you have to milk them everyday, but with the cows you will and with a dexter will be easier since you want to keep the baby any way you will share the milk with the calf that way you don't have to milk twice a day or every day , the calf will the care of it. If the calf happens to be a girl then you can sell it or keep it but then you don't have your meat supply what you do? you find a baby boy from some farmer or in an auction and put it with the cow, that way he will still take care of some of the milk.

The pros and cons between the two were evenly balanced for me when we decided which we wanted. I eventually went with goats due to the size of poop. Who did I really want to clean up after?

Well, I've narrowed it down to a couple of breeds. I love goats, but the rest of my family hates them, so that's out. With cattle, I need a small cow, that give rich milk. I've been thinking A dexter, of mini jersey. Which one do you prefer?? And what is the care required? Also, how much acreage for two of those?
