Goats!!!

How does everyone deal with new goats? We picked up our girls yesterday and they are scared to death if us, don't want nothing to do with us.

We over kill with love. However, being new, give them a day or so to adjust to new environment. Just make sure they have what they need and as they start to feel secure and safe, they should come around!

It takes time. I used to sit out side for hours just watching them. Calling their name and giving lots of neck scratches. They will come around. Try treats like animal crackers or even give hay from your hand.

Depends if you spoil them and come every time they call.

Treats! Also give them some personal space let them come to you. Don't run after them that will just make them not trust you longer.

Yea mine did that too. They eventually grew out of it. They do it every-now and then.

I dont, like i didnt with my 2 year olds lol I just keep walking but they still do it.
