Once in a while I have something happen like that in my life, and I'm just grateful for His gifts. Amazing!

Thanks all! I am SO blessed! The guy driving the truck worked for a local tractor / heavy equipment dealer. The owner of the company called me before I even made it home to tell me that he was very sorry and would make everything right...... The tech's apparently share a service truck and one of them had switched the trailer hitch to a 2" ball..... The trailer receiver required a 2 5/16. He had driven the truck all day without incident, but when he rounded my curve he hit a dip in the road and it forced the trailer to come loose and end up in my front porch. He was not speeding or being careless, it was just one of those things.

Bad part is, he was new on the job. He is terrified of losing his new job that it took him so long to get. I felt so sorry for him.

It's just stuff..... our house is an old farmhouse out in the country.... not a big - expensive home, and the front porch can be fixed. I just thank God that noone was hurt. It could have been a very, very bad day.
