We're looking to upgrade our water supply for our poultry to an automatic system.
We have quite a few bell waterers already, which we run off buckets (see my other post!).
We'd like to stop filling the buckets...I'm not sure if we need to use a pressure reducer, or what sort of fittings we need to go from 3/4 garden hose to the bells- or if it would simply be better for us to install float valves inside of each bucket....I'm leaning towards float valves, but am interested in what others have to say or how others have connected automatic water systems.
