Going broody? Or just protective of egg?

Unsure about what you mean about falling out. However I doubt that a 100 foot fall would even phase a baby chick, little less a mere foot and a half drop.
Yea. The only problem is if one falls from the nest while she is still hatching, it could get cold and die or she would get off the nest and all the unhatched chicks would die.

Here my pretty little girl is today! I love her :love

Now I know she is not broody. :hit I walked into the coop and she sang her egg song. In the nest was a perfect little brown egg. Oh well. I'm sure I will get another broody someday. Thank you for the help! Good luck with your mamma and chicks!

Thank you, but I still think she's broody no matter what you think one day your going to come back on this thread and say she sat in the nest during the night and I'm gonna say I told you so, just kidding I won't say that but you know.
