Going crazy tryna convince my parents to let me hatch again! PLEASE HELP!

I agree with coops dad, make a presentation describing how it will work. But also give them options and tell them the pros and cons of each option ea:"do you think that we should hatch this kind of quail, Or this kind? Quail 1 has pro, pro, and pro. But also con, con and con. While quail 2 has pro, pro, and pro. But con and con." This will show them that you have done your research and by giving them "this or that" choices and not "yes or no" choices and they answer the this-or-that then you've practically got it already.

(Also I know I'm not supposed to say my age but yay I'm not the only teen here!)

Doesn't hurt to show them the 5.88 dollars a pound price of beef and over 4 dollars a pound price per chicken. Then show how you can buy feed cheap and give them food cheaper than that by running a back yard operation.

This is seriously amazing to think about.

This is awesome advice, I have two teens as well. Also make sure you don't pester. Persistent dedication is good, but don't be a pest. In addition to showing your dedication to hatching make sure you keep up on other responsibilities, I know my boys always become extra helpful when charming Mom and I admit I fall for it. In anything you are passionate about patience is important. I will cross my fingers that your parents come around, I love seeing young people involved in agriculture! Good Luck!!

You know I have a brother that does this. And he can be a real sh----.

At the same time he's charming mom, he'll be spiting and sniping at other family members when she's not watching, and while still charming her.

So be careful falling for charm tactics.

I guess I'm lucky, my boys are honest, hard working and amazing. It isn't manipulation, just their enthusiasm. Everything they have they have earned and then some.

Hey guys. I know this is basically a dead thread now (and quite frankly a pretty immature one as well) but I just wanted to say that all your advice worked and I’m gonna be hatching Bobwhite quail next week!
I'm happy for you! Quail are a lot of fun, keep us posted on your progress!
