I feel like scent work is more abstract for them. If that makes sense. Definitely more challenging to teach, but I love it.
 
I finally figured out why my right turn corrections for lagging were not working. The problem was that when I right turned, I was always doing an about 180 turn, so she would try cutting behind me then run into my legs. This morning I started doing right 90° turns and it worked. Just a case of me being a dummy 🤦‍♀️

You’re not a dummy! She’s just too smart and figured you out LOL maybe try mixing it up between 180 and 90 LOL

Well she's clearly smarter than me lol, I'll definitely start mixing it up. Once she's Heeling properly we may do some rally trials. I really want to get back into it. Her biggest issue before was her heeling poorly and causing leash tightness
