Going from broody to incubator?

I have two turkey e ggs that are under a bantam brahma

They are doing well but she is in the coop with other chickens. I found out the hard way that my girls will kill a chick

I have chicks in the incubator right now that should be done hatching within the next two days. I would feel much safer if I were able to take the turkey e ggs and put them in the incubator for the last week. I tried to put my girl in her own box away from everyone else and she leaves her nest. What would you do?


ARRRGH! Stupid holiday!

Do you have some type of box you can confine her in for a day or two til she gets accustomed to it? Like a large pet carrier or dog house with a wire door.
 
I have a friend who takes the eggs from under the broodies on the 18th day and hatches them herself all the time. She says that way she can ensure there are no dieases ticks etc from the hens on them and she sells the chicks to cutomers, so yes, you can do that
