Going out to feed/maintain/..slip on shoe recommendations?

Pics
I have an old pair of crocs, like about 15 years old. They slip on and off, are washable so I’ll wear them into the shower. I even wear them in snow as long as the snow isn’t fresh and deep and falling inside. Boots like what the British call Wellies are great in snowbanks but they aren’t easy to take off. In warm weather if I get dirt or bedding inside I just take them off outdoors, shake them out, wipe my feet on the green grass and slip them back on. No problem 😌
Nice! My fake Crocs are at least 12 years old and I still wear them almost all day every day. They've been in the barn and coop, chewed on by rabbits, bitten by dogs, they have no tread left, and the color is faded...I can't believe they're still in one piece! I don't wear them in the barns as much as I used to (only in emergency situations); poop and straw in my shoes is not pleasant! I mainly wear old snow and rubber boots in the barns now. I recently got a pair of Sloggers ankle boots for yard/garden work.

Here's a pic of the footwear tray for the coop... Tractor supply slip-on boots for cleaning & muddy days ... old crocs or sloggers most days for feeding & watering or collecting eggs... In the winter I wear insulated Bogs or talker tractor supply boots with wool inserts.

I also use knock-off crocs. Despite the jokes and jeers, there is no denying the practicality of these.
So easy to slip on & off. If really mucky, just put your feet (with shoes on) under the outside tap. I have an "outdoor" scrubbing brush for the more stubborn messes.
They're so good that I keep a few of them for my visiting girlfriends to use.
They're also good for a quick visit to the fruit trees, but the ones I have do let the thorns through, so be careful.

Old slip-on sketchers for me. I've worn the sole off of two pairs and on to a third in 5 years. They are my general purpose "yard shoes" though. I also have a pair of random brand rain/muck boots courtesy DH, but those only come out immediately after or during a downpour (used only a handful of times per year)
