Well, I went to buy some food and oyster shells, and the peeping of chicks floated over to me. I was over there before I even realized. Debating, debating.... ah heck it, no one will care if you get a few, right? :oops:I ended up coming home with four chicks. A polish, a buff Orphington, a gold laced Wyandotte, and a bantam. No one can blame me, right? Now I have to deal with what my family will think about me getting more chickens... :jumpy

Thanks. He seems really small, so I was kind of thinking black Cochin, but I guess we'll see! I was kind of worried yesterday because they weren't moving around much, but now they are meandering about the brooder, napping close to the lamp, and eating. Let's just say my family wasn't the most pleased in the world when they saw me covered in chicks...:lol:

Exactly. Or, we should just buy things elsewhere.....(No. The only reason we go to TSC is because we know that thereschicks there, and we know we will be taking some home...)
Exactly what I meant! 1+1=2. But in chicken math: peep + peep= cute(c+ r2) divided by $ in your wallet/purse = as many as you can get!:gig
