Going to Tractor Supply was a mistake

I have about 300 of these adorable little boogers at my work right now. It's SO HARD not to bring them home, but I already have the max chickens for my current set up.
Pictured are some true Cornish Rock chicks...they fell asleep while eating.

Well, I went to buy some food and oyster shells, and the peeping of chicks floated over to me. I was over there before I even realized. Debating, debating.... ah heck it, no one will care if you get a few, right? :oops:I ended up coming home with four chicks. A polish, a buff Orphington, a gold laced Wyandotte, and a bantam. No one can blame me, right? Now I have to deal with what my family will think about me getting more chickens... :jumpyView attachment 2040486View attachment 2040487View attachment 2040490View attachment 2040492
Does the chick in the last pic have feathered legs? Comb type?

This happened to me today. Posting with my wife's account. I grabbed 4 but she stopped me from getting more. They had a nice variety this morning. However one of my barred rocks doesn't stop peeping, she starts up as soon as we leave the room. The others are resting peacefully but she's a little spaz right now. Hoping she just wants us to be in the room, they have food, water, and right temperature. Never had a baby constantly chirp
