Gold and Silver Sebright question

Do the occasionally come straight combs?? Just bought a few and they have staight combs. I think I have been sold mutts. Can anyone confirm this?

Look up the standard I'm pretty sure either one is exceptable.

I think I remember reading somewhere that having two copies of the rosecomb gene causes problems with hatch-ability and/or chick survival rate...I think some breeders use single combed stock to keep them heterozygous for the rosecomb, rather than homozygous... but don't quote me, I'm not 100% sure...
