Ugh...I'm so jealous....how awesome it must have been to see them in person! Maybe I will take a peek tonight....I'm so nervous though. With known fertility issues, Im trying not to get my hopes too high.... Just hope there's at least one little bugger growing in there.

Thanks Vicki.....Soooo excited!!!
Yes please check tonight lol. I'm so curious and I have a whole 5 days left before I will know :)

I know it is really hard..but try to resist going in there as much as possible..give them as much chance as you can. Be gentle when you do handle...and remember to sanitize.

I couldn't stand it any longer....I had to run down and check. Halleluiah!! There is one little GLO jumping all over. One was a quitter. The other 3 I'm not sure..it was hard to see if there was any veining....the eggs were very very spotty looking. I'll give them till next candle at day 14 before I give up on
them.

I changed clothes after doing chores and I didn't have exam gloves but I washed my hands really good before I touched the.incubator.....now I know I can be good.and leave them alone till day 14

All of mine are pourus too

I have never had a porous egg hatch. I wonder if you could dip it in something (not yours) for an experiment if you had a lot of porous eggs. I have only had them through shipping, I do not have them here to do the experiment.

He is the sweetest boy and I still have not named him.

her wattles are turning pink..I sure hope she is still a she..that is a LF Black from Marc in the back ground. I am adding some younger pictures. They sure grow fast.

I adore these birds....my heart simply melts

Wow! They've grown! She's a she. no worries. The lacing is coming in nicely too. Geez, time goes by quickly.

My young adults will be a year old next month. I was looking at my growing chicks and was feeling a bit down. The lacing didn't look as I'd hoped. Then, by accident I opened a file of the parents at 8 wks and 12 weeks and couldn't believe my eyes. I had gotten so used to their adult lacing that I'd forgotten that don't start out that way. There's hope yet!

Great job Vicki!

Can't wait to see picture updates from the others. I see many have gotten chicks and some of you have incubators humming! Fun, Fun!
