For some reason her pictures turn out terrible. She looks so much nicer than her photographs. She squats every time I approach.



She should be laying soon, her color is pinking up.

Sometime ago.... Alton sent me two half GLB x Black Orpington Pullets. These are F1 generation. I lost my dear sweet GLB roo, Danny, that Dee sent me so I have nothing to breed them to right now. But I thought you guys might like to see them.

Danny was a handsome young man. I was just looking at a picture of him the other day. We will miss him Renie. Renie in the last two photos it looks like they have gold in their wings. Do they? I love that you shared these pictures. I didn't know how much GL would be seen in F1.

She looks like she's making a quick dash away from the camera LOL. Sure does look like she's close to POL. They both have nice straight combs! Lucky you. I really need to see improvement in combs with mine. Luckily I have three pullets with a nice comb for F2. Max has a beautiful comb...well used to. Rock Star bit off one of the points. Can't wait to see your future chicklets!

I might hatch a small batch this fall to see what I need to do for improvements..I will than be asking for help in what direction I need to go. Color and shafting is one. I know i will need to work on. I do love the small tight combs.
