Gold laced Orpington genetics?

But im glad I could be of help! If you have any more questions I'll try and answer what I can! Orpingtons are great, and they are the main breed of chicken that I'm working with!

It's a reason they are so popular! The extra fluff, good body size/over all size, they make a great dual purpose bird, pretty friendly personalities, can make excellent broody hens, and are winter hardy, which is important for me! Plus there are currently so many patterns and feather coloring for them that you can have a lot of options for all different kinds of orpingtons! I only have 8 varieties of orpingtons right now, but im expanding by quite a few this year, so I'll have a pen will all kinds of colors and looks!

I currently have buffs, Lavenders, chocolates, blacks, black barred, chocolate barred, silver laced, chocolate silver laced, Jubilee, Black Mottled, and I'll also be getting a few chocolate laced gold orpingtons in 2-3 days! So i guess that's 11 varieties not just 8 whoops haha

but there are a good 15+ varieties of orpingtons I'm planning to hatch out this spring, as I have around 10+ breeding projects i am working on for more orpington colors and varieties! Some will be easy to achieve, others will be a longer process to get the right genetics together

I think another name for the black mottled might be spangled or black spangled orpington, i like them because I like how the spotting on them can change with each molt, so its like a new bird each time! And for the black barred, it's also called black cuckoo or can be called black cuckoo, it's nice because the barring is sex linked, so it would be easy to sort when hatched
