I have been so blessed to have purchased a trio from the ORIGINAL birds that were brought into the USA from Britain by Greenfire Farms! Actually, you have a picture of the Rooster that I purchased in Post #4 along with 1 of the hens. They arrived yesterday and I'm letting them settle in...then I will take pics and post. My husband bought them for me for our Anniversary! He's the best husband in the whole world!

The only 2 gold laced projects I have left will be butchered tomorrow. I was unable to rehome them and they are roosters.

I know how excited you must be. I received my GL chicks for my birthday. Can't wait to see the pictures

They said they were 15 months old! So, I still have several months of eggs still left hopefully so that I can get some of those cute baby chicks.....LOL

The Gold Laced Orpington are the most beautiful to me!
