Roo or Pullet? Anyone with experience with this breed have input? She is super sweet and friendly. One of the sweetest of my 8 girls. almost 8 weeks old. I've read multiple threads with similar birds but can't decided on mine.

What makes you say that?
Pulling this over from my research in the other thread about this particular chicken.

-4 weeks, very red comb and wattle, suspected roo

-7.5 weeks, looks very similar to the chicken in question here, confirmed on page 4 to be a pullet by starting to lay eggs

Yea, this one threw me for a loop too. I was very sure that it was a roo until it was pointed out that Wyandottes get their wattles early, even the females.

I am wondering if this ended up a cockerel? I have one is the same age but has no growth in the wattles like this? I have just joined and am about to give one to my granddaughter but it has to be a hen…
