Also look at the size of those legs, they are thick, so I'm guessing it's a cockerel.

I was just about to say that. And the breast has that rooster shape.

I have 2 a Silver Laced Wyandottes and at 9 weeks they were a bit smaller than your GLW but I’m leaning towards pullet…

Male. I don't know why everybody is having so much trouble with this bird. And thick legs?? Really? It is a male so you reached the right conclusion, but I have seen Brahma pullets with super thick legs. Next time don't go off of the size of the breast, or the thickness of the legs. Look for male specific feathering and comb and wattle development.

This is a good example of saddle feathers. Solid patches on the shoulders is another trait

Sorry, I know what the feathering is, I just wasn't thinking. But you mean saddle and hackle feathers I presume.

Right??? Even my 7 month old pullets don’t have a comb like that and some are laying…
