it looks more like a partridge rock to me. All my GLW have yellow legs the PR had the brown legs. And as I recall the GLW where the ugliest little chicks in the box, but turned into some very nice hens.

I'm not sure – it looks a bit like both a Partridge Rock and Gold Laced Wyandotte. Is the comb rose or single?

Gorgeous little chick!

My first reaction was EE or EE mix too. My GLW was just a hatchery chick, but she was marked like a chipmunk, and not that fluffy. However, I'm not familiar with partridge rocks...

Here was my GLW when she was a few days old...

A lady w/ small farm that had an ad on CL. She said she had GLW, americana(EE), and some other breeds in the list. I drove an hour and a half

to get to her!! Only because I don't see anyone local that has GLW...then when I got there realized that she had alot of chickens...and they free range-so breeding was not isolated. Honestly I'm fine w/ that....but now I have 6 chicks that I'm not sure what they are:confused:! Some definitely look like the EE and only two maybe 3 look as though they could be GLW. The one I showed seemed to resemble them the most.

Thanks! My oldest dd has named her Chocolate:love. I actually have another one that is supposed to be GLW and looks more like your above pic. Let me see if I can post it.
