I was wondering if some one could help me?
I have a question about a chick of mine that is currently still hatching...
My cockerel is a cream legbar x light sussex, and the hen is a black leghorn x bluebell...(so she's bluebelle shaped body but jet black)
I thought the chick might come out grey or blue or patchy or mottled, but it's come out bright white!
Does that mean it's male? Or is it possible it doesn't mean much other than that was the genes selected?
I was sure it would be black as black is more....dominant?
I have attacked photos of my man and my lady
