Golden Anyone?

I need help finding a golden colored breed. That is also good in cold weather. thanks

Are you talking about Buff or Golden Laced coloring. Orpingtons have a Buff(yellow) and are cold hardy. I have 2, great personalities and docile.


Here is one of mine. She is 7.5 months old and weighs about 6lbs. She is a hatchery bird so will be a little smaller than standard and not as rich in color. My first 2 batches of chickens are hatchery, but I am moving into BQ and SQ birds.

Oh thanks! I have been looking for golden breed for a while. I am going to get another batch in the spring.
