Golden Cascades on my pond.

I have a four acre farm. I bought five golden cascades from the local feed store. I now have four (one died in her sleep...

)

I've got two drakes, and two ducks/hens.

Any personality traits I should look for in the Golden Cascades? Laying patterns? Broody patterns? Maternal instinct? etc, etc.

They are very beautiful in their colour though! Great markings!

I have only read a few things about that particular breed. Seems they are a good dual purpose breed.

Thanks for the help. I'm just so happy to finally figure out what breed they are - just the problem is that they seem rare, and not too much information on them.

When I got them at the feed store the gal said they were just "white ducks" - I think somehow I got the four Golden Cascades; cause the rest were Pekins! (including the one I lost

)

I feel blessed to have such beautiful waterfowl on my farm!
