Golden Comet Sapphire Gem?

We got 6 chicks we are not quite sure are. They are 5-6 weeks old and we’re the last 6 our local RK had with no details. We are thinking the orangish ones are Golden Comets and the other a Sapphire gem assuming all pullets?? If we are to add a rooster what breed would be a good match?

Unless they were marked "pullets" you may want to wait to see IF any turn out to be a cockerel.

Both of those are sex-links and I'm not seeing any that look like cockerels, so I think they got them right. Rooster choice would be your preference, regardless of what you use all the offspring will be backyard mixes so best to pick something you like

I didn’t know that. We’re new to these breeds. I was thinking of adding a sapphire gem cockerel since I love the coloring I’m seeing on these guys or a lavender Orph but since they will be a mix maybe a Maran
