I recently hatched some chicks out of my golden cuckoo maran x Blue Ameraucana Roo. I’m hoping for some Olive Eggers bc she lays a nice dark egg. I’m really excited to see how these turn out bc most have the ear muffs and beards and some have feathered legs like her!

Some almost look like chocolate Easter Eggers, so I’m curious how they’ll feather out!

Were you aware that it's a sex linked cross? The ones with the head spots are cockerels. Solid ones are pullets.

So of these 7 it looks like 2 are boys with the white head spot? Then that leaves 5 girls bc no head spot right?
