Buster, the "special" forum is for questions and kinks related to the membership. It is not a secret society.

I belive we are now talking about the color of the names of the Golden Feather members. Whether it is too orange or too yellow.

And there was a problem with some of the members PM space.

Hmm. Heady stuff indeed.

Like the old 'telephone' game, where one person whispers something in another person's ear, and they pass it on to another person, and on and on and by the 10th person, whatever was first said is no longer what the last person ended up with!!!!!

The GFM is one who is willing to help cover some of the costs in a site like this being hosted by huge computers and the electricity they burn in exchange for having bigger mail boxes and greater picture storage. For the most part that's it in a nutshell, some people that are here lots and enjoy the place have been asking for those 2 features and as they are computer heavy Rob designed a way to allow those that want it to have it without impacting the community as a whole by having to increase advertising or drop other features.

I did it just because BYC is awsome and I dont look at it as Buying to get into a club or anything .. I want to support BYC!

I love this site.. It costs money to run this .. and it is growing rapidly.. (cost i am sure is going up just as rapidly)

so that is how I see it.. supporting the site..

No, wasn't directing my comment to anyone in particular. I had been reading everyone's posts on GFM and how it seemed that some were making a mountain out of a molehill.
You're not wrong about posting in a 'special forum' but I think is more like a section where one can comment on technical stuff.

Ooops...adoptedbya chicken just said that.

Anyway, didn't mean to ruffle feathers, never do......
