Golden Laced Cochins **Older two are Crowing!!!**

Hi, the golden laced cochins are 12 1/2 weeks old now. Well the oldest one is and the other two are a few days or maybe longer behind. Breeder didn't really know.

Here they are... What gender do you think they are?

The older one

Older and either middle or smaller one

UPDATE: Older one and middle one are roosters.

Ellie, I'm sure I'll be out-voted again, and I know you want a roo, but I'm staying with my original opinion of 3 pullets. Sorry.

Hey, your opinion is greatly appreciated. Yep, I do want a roo out of this, but ya get what ya get!! I tell you the older one acts like a roo.

The last 2 are pretty red in the comb and wattles for 3 months old. I will say they are roos.

The older one looks like a roo to me. Taller and leaner than pulleys. Also his neck feathers are black. Pullets are all laced.

I thought I would let those who are interested know that the older one crowed! Yesterday I got one syllable and wasn't sure; after all, it could have been a warning cry for something. Well, this morning the chick was flapping it's wings to beat the band and finally, uttered one syllable. I stood out in the yard a little longer and tried to encourage him and a few minutes later, yep, he let out two two syllable "crows" with wing flapping and all.

So, now for the other two. I am so happy to have a rooster.
