I have 6 pullets about 6 weeks old now. It’s my first time raising chicks, and I’m getting a little nervous that one may be a cockerel. She’s pretty feisty and often times runs at the other chicks. They all do that from time to time, though so I wasn’t too worried about that. They’re all getting pretty big now and this one looks much different than the rest. I can’t have roosters so I’d have to get rid of him before he starts getting noisy. I’ve attached a few photos. She’s not in the one with the ladder, those are just the other ladies. Help!

They both look like pullets to me! These are ours! The bigger one is definitely a little feisty and I have caught her running to the other chickens and jumping on them. She is a bit of a bully, but I think that might just be their personality especially since she's a larger one of the group. The smaller one loves to cuddle and she's the one pictured alone

I have 6-week-old silver-laced Wyandottes (one pullet and one cockerel), and yours definitely do not look like our cockerel! He's VERY roostery looking already! :)

Okay. Thanks for the comparison! As she’s getting bigger I think I was just paranoid. I guess that’s just their personalities coming out! Yours have a nice laced pattern coming in already. I think mine maybe a Week younger so maybe 5 weeks. Either way, they’re growing like weeds. Can’t wait to see their pattern come in. The other 3 I have are midnight magic marans, which aren’t quite as pretty, but we’ll see. It’s hard to find photos of them online since they’re new-ish apparently.
