Hello! I have this beauty who is incredibly affectionate, one of my 4 friendliest chicks. She's about to turn 7 weeks old, but was right around 6 weeks old in most of these photos:

I recently asked a couple of other groups about our Golden Laced Wyandotte (Din) and was told most definitely a hen.

I was wondering what you all think? Hen or Roo?

I have 3 9 week old GLW . . I'll get pictures for comparison, but so far I haven't seen wattles on mine.

I honestly haven't looked them over in the last week or so since I'm praying they're all pullets and want to live in the land of denial for as long as possible, lol.

those waddles be looking suspicious, but the clean feather pattern is saying pullet this is my wyandotte at around that around that age i think it was a few weeks older tho he was very obviously a roo

I would say pullet, rounded hackle feathers. We have a couple of them right at point of lay. They kept me guessing on the sex of them tail feathers on ours looked suspiciously like a cockerel. So did the saddle feathers looked like yours does. After a bit longer it became obvious! A bit more time on yours will help! Our two are the sweetest birds! 🙂

So, oddly enough, after staring at my Wyandottes for the last hour trying to get decent pictures . . . I realized mine are more of 'silver/blue' laced gold...?

Hard to tell in most of the pictures because the run is shaded, but next to my Black Sex link they're definitely more "gray" than black.

Oh and 'she' (hopefully) does have wattles.
