I am wondering if my 18 week old glw are roosters or hens? I bought them as chicks. I am new to this breed of chicken and am not very familar with them

See the solid patch on the wing in the last photo? That is a male pattern (females are laced over the whole body, including this area). It's hard to know which bird is which in each of these photos, but I think each shows this pattern in one shot or another.

Hi, welcome to BYC! :frow

Definitely some of both gender there... maybe!

Yes, at this age their should be significant difference in waddles and combs for the genders. But Ol Grey Mare has it correct! :highfive:

On the very top of the wing, boys will have a barring or blotchy pattern. Where as the girls are very CLEARLY and beautifully laced. Also note the darkness of the blotch on the wings of the boy in that last pic. It is more red than gold.

If you want exact answers on your birds, you'll have to number them for us or something... as we can't even really tell how many birds all together there are. :)

Your cockerels should also be showing their pointy saddle feathers at this point.
