Golden Laced Wyandottes?

Five of the chicks are blue over barred rocks. Four are blue rock over easter egger. I got the eggs from halo. If you look at her BYC page, you will see photos of the hens from the blue/barred rock cross. Very pretty hens. There also is a photo of a rooster from this cross, who is fascinating in color and pattern.

I started this as an experiment and learning experience, because I had never hatched any chicks and the broody GLW would not give up. Once I saw the photo of the blue/barred hens, I was really hopeful that I would get some pullets from the hatch! Fortunately, it looks like I have 3 blue/barred rock pullets. There are 2 roos for sure - they have white spots on their little noggins.

Halo has never hatched out the blue rock/EE eggs, so I think she is as interested as I am in how those chicks turn out. I am pretty sure that the really black ones are the BR/EE cross. The gray ones and one dark gray nearly black one are the blue/barred rock chicks.
