Golden neck d'uccles

I have 2 golden neck d'uccle hens and all of a sudden the comb is red (overnight) they have always been a light pink.... is there something going on that I need to look into? Thanks for all your help 1st time chicken momma here, they are very spoiled and my daughters are worried

They are 5 Months. We have 2 silkies and the 2 d'uccles and our d'uccles are younger. I didn't think about that....

definitely aren't males I had 2 roos in my flock of 5 when I got them as babies and my other got taken by a hawk

i'm so excited to know they maybe laying soon. Do you know what color duccle eggs happen to be? my silkie eggs are a light pinkish cream

I think it's about the same color, may be a bit more tan. It's been years since I had them

We have them more as pets than anything and they are definitely spoiled lol
