Golden Nugget?

I found this chicken along the tollway coming back from hunting last year. She laid some of the best Brown dbl x large eggs I have ever seen.(they will not fit into a conventional xl grade A egg carton with the lid closed).
I stopped into the poultry barn at this years county fair and started inquiring about the breed. I was told after producing the pictures included here that she was a special cross called a golden nugget. I cannot find any info on the internet about this chicken.
Can anyone confirm what she really is?

Incidently, I live within the city limits and someone reported the chicken. reluctantly, I had to give her up. fortunately, it was to someone I know and I still get an occasional dozen eggs from her. I would like to raise a flock of these as soon as I get out of the city.

Never heard of the name "Golden Nugget" however, that hen looks like a sexlink. They have all sorts of names, like Cinnamon Queen, Golden Comet, etc, which are sort of trade names for the same hybrid layer.

The guy I spoke to was supposedly well connected with poultry in central Illinois. he mentioned that this particular breed was the product of several different crosses to acheive a chicken that laid very large brown eggs and that they were a very common chicken and aquiring them was very easily done. So far, I have found this info to be, questionable at best.

You can find sexlinks at ANY hatchery. They're fairly easy to come across.

I have just finished searching sexlinks, and after I sifted through the porn, I actually found some info I can relate to. From what I can tell, she may be a golden sexlink. also posible is a shaver red. She exibits many features present in the shaver reds.

ok folks i'm new to this site but could really use some advise. I got a golden nugget from a neighbor and she layed the next day a nice BIG white egg. mind you this is about 2 mths ago. didn't get a egg for almost 2 wks. then got an egg that was mostly hard but had soft shell cracks, then the next day got a soft shell egg. about 2 wks later I got a nice normal egg. then a few days later another soft shell that popped when my other girls went and laid theirs. I have a buff orph, a blk sex link and a australorp. they always lay for m nice normal to ex lg tan eggs. except my aus she gives me small eggs. I have also noticed that the golden is very aggressive to my other girls and very standoffish to me and my rooster. so heres the ? do I get rid of here or just deal. please help. thx
