I have decided to dedicate this thread to Plippers. She passed away last night.
Plippers’s story-
I adopted Plippers from some one who contacted me saying that I could have his 8 ducks for free if I took them all. Having been looking for ducks I decided to get them. When I got there all 8 Where sick and unable to quack. They where in a very small pen that had no shelter for them or pool. They had a water despenser with green algae water and the floor of the pen was straight up red sandy dirt and the ground was super hot. All the ducks where under weight and their feet where all dried out. I took them home and gave them some TLC and soon they where happily splashing in their new pool. I then moved them into a pen with my other ducks and they had four pools to swim in, shelter, grass a large tree and some mud to enjoy. Unfortunately last night an owl stole plippers and a little piece of my heart. She was only 3 months old and most of her life was spent living in poor condition without Love. I gave her some good weeks of her life but I just wish I could have given her more. Forever Rest In Peace, my lovely little Plippers.
Just when she was discovering how good duck life could be. Thank you for rescuing her and the others.
at least she had a good life before she had to go
