They're pretty undemanding birds and compared to alot of other birds they don't need a large amount of space.

So just curious, is there a reason the inside isn't seperated from the outside by a wall? Or just for the design/ease

I just keep them to enjoy their color and behaviors.

What do you mean? " the inside isn't separated from the outside by a wall"?
Each pen is separated by wire and the sheltered part is separated with plywood walls, so the sheltered part is 3-sided plywood walls.

It's as good a reason as any! I know some people raise to sell, some raise for eggs.
