Golden pheasant sexing

I have 10 2 week old chicks..... how soon can you tell what sex and how can you tell?

I think their eyes change colour around two months.

At 2 weeks, the wattle(tear drop) should be easily seen, just below its eye, if it's present, it's male...if not, then female.

If your eye sight is excellent, you can tell the sex of day old Ruff pheasants, ie; Goldens and Amherst.

Yep! Males are getting some slight coloring and eye colour is changing.
