Is it possible that those with surviving chicks from ManchurianxManchurian matings have the Y^f2, or fawn mutation, instead of or as well as the yellow (ie YY^f2 ...or... Y^f2Y^f2)?
Does anyone have any information on this gene mutation pertaining Manchurians in the US? Any photos to compare side by side a Manchurian vs a Fawn? I have seen many photos of Fawns as well as what one might call Italians (so half Manchurian) in study papers of the lethal gene, but these papers all claim that YY offspring die, so there are no surviving offspring to take pictures of... ?
