I have a goldfish pond thats become a tad overpopulated. I dont really want to go through the hassle of trying to sell or give them away, so I was thinking about feeding some of them to my chickens. Do you all think this would be okay? These are all healthy, good sized fish and most of them were born and raised in my pond. If this does sound like a good idea, shoud I just give them the whole fish or take the heads off and insides out? I think the smallest goldfish in my pond is about 4-5 inches. I thought they might be a great source of protein for my feather babies. So, what do you think?

I have a small pond with goldfish. When the chickens discovered it, one actually fell into the pond trying to get to the fish. Silly chicken!! Luckily I was nearby & could get her out.
