Goldie’s Adopt-An-Egg HAL

Just candled for the first time.
Great news. I see development in every egg except one! :woot
Egg 6 looks empty to me, but it also looks like a blood ring??

@Wyorp Rock @Eggcessive @NatJ @EggSighted4Life - is this a blood ring? Does this mean the egg is not viable? (egg 6) I don’t see an embryo or any veins. The eggs are on day 6 today. Should I throw this egg out?

Every egg has veins and/or a visible embryo except egg 6. :(

Hoping to get information on what the red circular ring is inside egg 6?

Nice most of them are looking good 😃

Candled again yesterday night, and they are all looking good except #6. It looks mostly clear with a red ring that wraps around it on the inside.

Going to give it a couple more days before I throw it out.

Candled yesterday (swiftly) and today again just to be sure. Sure enough, 6 was clear. :(

Sad to me that @Buckingham Palace had both their eggs die in both my recent adopt-an-egg HALs. :hugs A little bummed but I won’t be angry with a 7/8 hatch rate.

All the other eggs are developing well. Just 6 days left! Time flies.

I relabeled the eggs because the numbers were almost faded away.

Goldie got off the nest today for only about 2 minutes. She skipped dust bathing today. She heard the chicks chirping inside the egg so she ran back to the nest after getting a drink or water. She’s going to be a great mom. :love

I picked up a few of the eggs and heard chirping.

Hatch day is in just TWO DAYS (this Tuesday!). I’m expecting a couple to pip tonight as I tend to have early hatchers all the time.

:fl
