As I was researching I noticed Goldline chickens, they seem to be very popular in the UK. From what I read, the Goldline Hybrid was originally bred using a Rhode Island Red Cockerel and a Light Sussex hen. Do these chickens go by a different name here in the US?

Yes, Red or Golden Sex link, Golden Comet, Cinnamon Queen, ISA Brown....and more. Watch out, people will sell them to you under the names of true breeds, like RIR, New Hampshire, many more.
