Golly gee whiz it's cold outside today!!!

welcome to fall,

its 42 here today and it has been around that for a couple weeks. Id rather fall than 90 percent humidity and 95 degrees in the summer.

Our temp here is 36 with 12 mph winds and cloudy making it feel like 28. We have had snow showers today. The winds were higher yesterday and it snowed then too.

Its cold here too. I guess it's time to turn the heat on. We've been waiting until it get cold enough and the wind will cut right through you today . I've been raking pinestraw to cover my flowers ,they are still blooming . The chickens seem to like this weather.

*snicker!* You think THAT's cold... it's -1.8°F /-18°C here this morning. I've just been out adding water to the bunnies and collecting eggs. I think I'll go thaw out by the fire now...

hehehe... but when it's 110-115°F in the summer down there, I'm in the 70s... I'd rather put more clothes on, than not be able to take any more off.

I used to be that way also, but lately it just doesn't seem like there is enough clothes for me to put on to stay warm. I HATE to be cold. My hands don't work in the cold either. Boy I just love getting old!

I hear you... *sigh!* Someday I won't be able to tolerate the cold anymore, and I'll be a snowbunny.

I was shocked when I went out this morning and I'm in north central Florida. It was about 48 degrees at 7:00 am. Of course it warmed up to about 75 but tonight it's supposed to get down to 39 - 42. That is very cold for Florida in October! I hope it's going to be a cold winter for us. It help get rid of bugs, etc.

ETA: I just checked our weather forecast and it's supposed to be around 35 degrees tomorrow night. OMG!!!
