Good & bad plants

A friend of mine found this website that lists several toxic plants, & their symptoms, along with some non-toxic plants. As is mentioned on this site, it all depends upon the amount the bird eats & how healthy it is on how severe it's symptoms are. Hope you guys find this as useful as I have.

According to this page http://www.plannedparrothood.com/plants.html iris & daffodils are among the poisonous plants. No sign of Phlox, though. I've got irises & phlox in my back yard with the chickens. They love to hide among the iris leaves, but I've never noticed them pecking at them or even interested in the other than for protection. As for the phlox, it was new this year, so I didn't get to observe their interactions. I don't feed my chickens anything but veggies that I eat (or the parts I don't eat, I guess), and crumbles, but they have free range over the back yard, which includes the veggie garden, and several flower beds. As long as they have other options, I don't think that they'd mess with poisonous plants.
