Feel bad, my rooster, just tried to attack my 4 yr. So of course, bye bye Tommy.
7 yr. is in tears, she loves him, he won't do it agian, she will watch him... Umm nope, they are mostly in their pen, but the odd time I let them out. Nope sorry, so not letting my baby girl lose an eye cause of a rooster.. Good Bye.. Heart breaks for more elsedest, :(

Thank-you Scratch n peck, Were happy to get rid of him, but still feel bad for my oldest, she's cried on and off for the last few days :( Really we have to do what's best for the safety of everyone in our family. Still sad. Makes me feel better to know, other people are on bored :)

My rooster attacks all the time, its a shame :(

So difficult to make this decision but as always, the child's safety is priority.

Your oldest would feel far worse if the roo was kept, and someone was injured since she promised to keep him in line. You just can't control animals.
Get another rooster.Things might turn out the same, but you keep trying till you find a nice one.I got my roo off craigs and he is the best.Protects his ladies as best he can,not too rough with the sex,and most important he never attacked a human. Shoot, I can chase HIM around.

Best wishes!
