Ditto on the Owl decoy. I have one and I also have the pie pans swirling around and haven't had any problems.

I wonder if my neighbor would notice if I hung cds in his tree? I mean thats where they are hanging out at!
I went outside yesterday and heard a familiar sound. Instantly looked up to see two hawks making a fuss and flying low! I watched one land in the neighbors biggest tree! ( Its only their land , no home on it yet!) I made hubby come help me put all the birds away and we couldnt find one of my RSL hens! Searched for 30 minutes. Finally found her across the street under the bushes pecking away! I do have a Rooster in with these hens but he cant get out of the run like they can! I will probably end up covering their run when we move their coop. Having trouble keeping them out of the garden! Hope all of you have success with yourcd's, pie pans, etc. I havent lost one to a predator yet and hope I never do!

But I am going to hang cds for now!

So far today no casualties!! Really hope the CDs work there magic. I wonder if the hawks will get use to the CDs like the pigons do the owl decoy??
