Roosters are noisy, chickens rarely make much noise unless disturbed. My Barr Rocks rarely make a peep (very little disturbed them) my Easter Eggers are much more vocal (everything disturbs them) but even they are not really noisy enough to disturbed a neighbor (unless you have very sensitive neighbors)

I was leaning more to astrolorps and buffs.

although our neighbored dogs are nice a loud in the middle of the night our neighbors are sensitive to what they don't understand lol.

I do not have any experience with those breeds. But like I said roosters are noisy, hens are pretty quiet.

I have a Buff Orpington. She is very docile and doesn't make much noise at all. I have a Brown Leg Horn and a Blue Andalusian that squawk up a storm, especially after laying an egg.

You can get an odd one in a bunch that deviates from the breed norms, but for the most part, the breeds mentioned are all quiet and calm. Sounds like your narrowing things down and on the right track.
