Good luck to you Mid-Atlantic states.... Round 2.....

Started here in my part of Virginia about 4-4:30pm. People around here truly don't know how to handle weather like this...not really saying I do but our major heat source is a woodstove plus we have a fireplace, we have a generator, lots of canned goods a freezer full of meats and other supplies put to the side so we are better off than alot of others especially if we lose power. Everyone stay safe and warm!

It was snowing earlier here but now it stopped so I don't know what's going on. We are supposed to get 4-6 in i think.
It's not so bad if you don't have to get to work during the snow. We had about 8 in on Saturday and as luck would have it I had to work that day. Nothing like an hour commute in freshly fallen snow with not a plow in sight(well - did see a few) in the dark in my(thankfully) 4X4 SUV. But I'm off tomorrow...

All you folks with the netting over your pens - take the netting down before the storm comes and put it back up when it's done. Netting never takes the snow load.

For those that rarely see the snow - enjoy it! Make snowmen, go sled-riding. Kids LOVE this stuff. We're used to it here but the kids still like it(the adults - not so much).

I like your attitude! You guys are lucky this year, it's been a coastal thing lately.......we get the snow depth, you get just a little bit and up north gets a dusting....!!!

We're getting an expected 16 inches tonight into tomorrow. I'll be out there with my yardstick!

LOL. Up to about 10 in isn't so bad but after that it starts to get reeeeeaally heavy to shovel.

My 3 yr old is not sure about this. His big sis pulled him around on the sled the other day and when he came in he said it was cold.....very....very..... cold.
