Good luck to you Mid-Atlantic states.... Round 2.....

So the weather man was totally wrong.... he said 4-6 inches. We have over a foot because my boots are 18 inches high and snow was going into them! Here are some pics.

I wanna see some pics of the 2 foot snow... the deepest I've been in was like 20 inches or so.

Pretty pics! I love when it sticks to the trees.
We got about 4" yesterday, then it rained for the rest of the day.
I was just about to say nothing is going on at the moment, but I
looked outside to see snow is really coming down now. Must have started within the last hour.
Here we go!

Here's my pics from this morning....

Yikes looks like a lot of clean up! DS shoveled a path to the coops this morning and looks like it's already filling in

That's gonna take all day to clean up! I really feel sorry for all of you but I am so happy to share what rightfully belonged to us up here in the snow belt. I woke to up to not even a flake! I just hope you guys have the equipment to move that stuff and everyone stay safe - no backaches

Awesome pictures, I just got done shoveling mine and I had my neighbor come plow the rest of the drive. It's nice what a few dozen eggs and a couple of chickens will do in the winter time!

Storms over and the sun is shining... Just in time for the Super Bowl.

WV, we got over 37 1/2 inches. We have a dane that tall and it was over her back.
It took us 3 hours just to plow from or drive way to across the road to the horse barn.
Hubby just came in from clearing the drive ways and a potty spot for the dogs.
While I cleared a path to the coops and took water/feed out.
Anyone else get this much? Be the way we live on top a Mountain.

Hopefully, I'll get some pictures uploaded. Hubby just measured 17" of snow. I dug a path to the coops this morning, and again this afternoon, and will need to dig again - it's just too deep to walk in.
Power went out around 11 last night. We went to bed. I woke at 3am, and was worried about being snowed in. So I was outside shoveling off the deck and a little area off the deck. It was kind of cool- electric was still out, it was so quiet out there.
Didn't get internet service until an hour or so ago. I'm hoping it holds up, and power stays on.

The snow piled on top of the chicken wire covered run. Actually had 2 posts get pulled in from the weight of the snow on the top. Chicken wired was stretched and sagging. If we were used to this much snow, I'd have to have a plan B for a covered run. Lucky it didnt collapse. But- it's still snowing.
