Good Morning One & All!!!

I am up for the second time. We slept with the windows open for the first time last night. I woke up to birds singing to the beat of a woodpecker. My DH is not a morning person so I left him alone while I got up for a cup of chai and a visit to BYC. Oh, yea, and to let the dogs out.

I went back to bed for a snuggle before DH had to get up and go to a rehearsal (he is filling in for a choral concert). He is gone now. I just finished my cheese omelet and am getting ready to put in my new asparagus and potatoes. It is supposed to be in the 80s today and tomorrow. I guess I better put on my sunscreen first.

I hope everyone has a lovely day. Take stock of what is good today.

Mornin' all!

I've been up since 6 but am just getting over here to the computer now. I have lots of housework to do today, and I am finishing the broiler hoop house my husband built yesterday and moving the meaties into it

They are going to love all their new room.
The best part? That hoop house was FREE, sitting in my barn from god-knows-who that left it here before we bought the place.
We call the barn the Giving Barn because anytime we really need something, there it is!

It is beautiful outside! Should be a good day!

Good morning PC and everyone. I just came in from having my second cup of coffee out on the deck. It is the best day so far this year here! DH is off to the dump then we start working in the yard. We have leaves and junk to clean up, a small water garden to fence in (puppy-proofing!

) We need to move the chicks to a larger brooder. They're starting to look like small dinosaurs. Some veggie garden repairs are in order too.
It is going to be a glorious weekend! I'm so thrilled!!!!!

This is why I LOVE BYC! You are all the best. What a positive way to start the day!

I woke up, took a cup of coffee out to my coop, and started the day watching chicken TV.

My two daughters are both at sleepovers. My son was admitted to the hospital yesterday for dehydration. He had the runs from both ends, if you know what I mean, for 4 days. I was upset at first, but it was actually the best thing for him. He had an IV inserted, and they have "re-hydrated" him with IV fluids. He is feeling much, much better, and he will be coming home shortly.

I do have a lot to be thankful for, too!
